She is a founding member of Gift Horse Theatre, a theatre company dedicated to making sustainable work with a focus on playful adaptations of classic texts. She is Associate Costume Designer for Four Rivers, a South Eastern based theatre company.

Mae is a frequent creative collaborator with Waterford Spraoi, a street theatre festival based in Waterford, having designed their production of Prism, a concept album installation in collaboration with King Kong Company.

Mae has a collaborative approach to design, having its presence in the conversation from the very start of the creative process. She has particular interest towards devised practices and new writing with the opportunity for conceptual and cohesive aesthetic worlds. Mae primarily works in theatre but has experience and is open to film, opera, installation and styling.

Mae has worked as an associate/assistant designer to designers such as Saileóg O Halloran, Maree Kearns and Sarah Foley. Full CV including assisting and supervising credits available upon request.

(Smock Alley 2023), and I’m Getting Coffee, Do You Want Anything? (Garter Lane 2022). She makes work utilising a designer led practice, allowing aesthetic world building to lead the process.
